Nissan’s Titan is a full-size pickup that’s renowned for its ruggedness and dependability. The Titan XD is a larger version of the long-running truck that offers even more muscle to help you take on the toughest jobs. It has a roomy, inviting interior that packs a ton of deluxe features, as well. Let’s explore the 2024 Nissan Titan XD!
Power and Performance
Every Titan XD model is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.6L V8 engine featuring Nissan’s Variable Valve Event and Lift (VVEL) system. VVEL improves throttle response and efficiency by using an electronically controlled rocker arm and two links to control the intake valves more precisely. A 9-speed automatic transmission smoothly distributes the motor’s impressive output of 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels.
The switchable four-wheel drive system greatly enhances traction over tricky surfaces and is complemented by a two-speed transfer case that keeps you fully in control, no matter what type of terrain you encounter. The Titan XD PRO-4X comes with an electronic locking rear differential for enhanced grip.
Towing and Hauling
In the base SV trim, the Titan XD has a maximum tow capacity of 10,900 pounds and a payload capacity of 2,360 pounds. The truck is capable of towing up to 11,050 pounds when it’s equipped with a gooseneck hitch. The bed is measured at 78.7 inches long and 63.8 inches wide, so there’s plenty of space for cargo. Bed options include LED lighting, a 120-volt outlet, and the versatile Utili-track channel system and its durable, adjustable cleats.
Passenger Cabin
The Titan XD comes exclusively in the crew cab body style, making it easier for the truck to double as a family vehicle. Buyers can choose a five- or six-seat configuration, with the latter featuring a 40/20/40-split front bench and folding center seat. There’s more than 40 inches of headroom in both rows, and the rear provides 38.5 inches of legroom.
An 8-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support and heated front seats are available on the SV and standard on the PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve. The Platinum Reserve also gets standard heated rear outboard seats and plush leather upholstery.
Infotainment System
While the SV gets an 8-inch touchscreen system, the PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve are equipped with a 9-inch display. Both let users take advantage of smartphone integration, voice recognition, and Bluetooth technology. Trims with the larger touchscreen feature a 9-speaker Fender sound system and door-to-door navigation that sends directions to your smartphone in cases where your destination is several blocks from your parking spot.
